Electric Picnic round-up

We confused people, bamboozled people, and introduced people to the wonders of a black lace bodystocking with silver hotpants. While the rain and mass audience hangover prevented too much playtime, highlights included singing to a group of lads (yes, you) after a kiss on the cheek, and rewriting part of the Book of Matthew for two family men in exchange for their must-see gig list.

The best part of the Picnic, however, was chatting to people about the project, handing out our cards/receipts, and - yes - taping green fig leaves to our nether regions. I think the material went over people's heads a bit (a subversive take on religion through a structure attempting to be subversive towards capitalist practices - too much? ;) ), but we made people stop and think, and thank you to all the people who stopped by our little stand to ask: "What is this?" Asking makes the heart grow fonder.
